Our Successes

This has been thus far a very successful initiative, where we inspire and motivate entrepreneurs to believe in their products and our country, knowing that a lucrative market in the tourism industry awaits them.
Apart from the connection with the Central University of Free state, many connections were made with various hotels, businesses and onsite collaboration between participants. We have also provided valuable social media exposure. Professional videos have been published, as well as TV coverage. Our initiative had now spread to other cities, towns and included surrounding areas.

We are urging entrepreneurs to make their presence known by showcasing their businesses, inviting them to bring along sample products, brochures, business cards and banners to show who they are and what they are about.

The aim is to make the local entrepreneurs – small, medium and micro businesses, aware of their very important role that they play, within the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as their bid to help grow our economy. It is surely up to us to make the difference we would like to see in the industry and economy.

Our very first event was hosted in Cape Town on 9 April 2022. This was very successful and has attracted the attention of business communities in different towns and plans are being made, to visit these communities. Our goal with the Ambassadors for South Africa is to inspire and motivate entrepreneurs to believe in their products and our country, knowing that a huge market in the tourism industry awaits them. Opening new avenues and ideas to make our presence felt.

Knowing that we can be even more successful in working together and network with businesses around us. The networks can spread over cities, towns and surrounding areas as word of our successes will spread like wildfire.

We are urging entrepreneurs to make their presence known by showcasing their businesses, inviting them to bring along sample products, brochures, business cards and banners, to show who they are and what they are about. This kind of networking opens up immediate doors for business, due to the connections made during the event.

(NB! Note that this is not a market, but only a place to showcase products and to network with like minded entrepreneurs)

We are also linking entrepreneurs to new social media platforms. An application has been developed in collaboration with AFSA to link all businesses joining directly with their potential clients, without lifting a finger.

During our presentation, we have a professional videographer who will make sure that the event will be streamed on social media. We are providing the opportunity to a few entrepreneurs featuring on video during the presentation, which will be part of the final product. We will also make sure that all attendees will receive a copy of this video for their social media platforms.
