Conditions

By booking your arrangement with us or using our website, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms of these General Terms and Conditions, including any additional terms and conditions of any Supplier that are applicable to your booking, travel arrangements or use of any website content

All communications by the Company in relation to your booking will be sent to the email address stated on the booking form.

You agree on behalf of yourself and those you represent to comply with all such terms and conditions, including the payment of all amounts when due. You agree that any violation of any such terms and conditions may result in (a) the cancellation of your reservation or purchase, (b) your forfeiture of any monies paid for your reservation or purchase, (c) you being denied access to the applicable travel related product or service, and (d) our right to debit your account for any costs we incur as a result of such violation.

All bookings will be made by an authorised representative of Jenol Tours. At the time of booking the, booking form must be completed and submitted together with a deposit of 50% ,of the total cost of the tour.

Receipt of the deposit and booking form by the Jenol Tours does neither guarantee nor imply confirmation of the booking. No booking shall be confirmed until Jenol Tours issues a written notice. Jenol Tours reserves the right to refuse a booking without giving any reason and shall in that event return any deposit received.

Full payment of the tour must be made at least 30 days before your date of departure. If your travel date is less than 30 days date of tour, then full payment must be made upon booking. You will be inform of the final payment date. If not received by due date as stipulated, Jenol Tours reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit. The person who confirms the tour, guarantees payment of the total amount shown on the booking form in accordance with these conditions.

You represent and warrant that:

(a) You are at least 18 years of age and is legally eligible to use our services, website and can create binding legal obligations in connection with your use.

(b) You are mandated and legally authorized to act on behalf of those you represent and accept these terms and conditions on their behalf.

(c) All the  information provided by you or members of your group, is true and correct and that you are responsible for informing all members of your tour party, of all terms and conditions applicable to their travel arrangements.

(d) You understand that you are financially responsible for any use of our services or website, when confirming any booking or any tour, on behalf of all members of your group including yourself.

PAYMENT OF THE TOUR PRICE CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.

Cancellation

If clients Cancel their arrangements, they are entitled to a refund, based on the refund policy conditions below. Jenol Tours shall have the right to either claim the Deposit or to retain the Deposit and claim all money paid to third parties, by Jenol Tours. Jenol Tours  may reserve the right to cancel any tour before departure, in which event the entire payment will be refunded to the Client without any further obligation on the part of Jenol Tours. The maximum cancellation fee, which may be imposed in the event of a Client cancelling, is as follows:

  • Upon booking all clients pay a 25% non-refundable deposit.
  • 40 days prior to departure: free of charge
  • 25 to 39 Days prior to departure: 35% of the total Tour Price
  • 18 to 24 Days prior to departure: 50% of the total Tour Price
  • 10 to 17 Days prior to departure: 75% of the total Tour Price
  • 5 to 9 Days prior to departure: 85% of the total Tour Price
  • 4 Days or less: 100% of the total Tour Price
  • “No Show” 100% of the total Tour Price

Insurance

Travel insurance is a vital part of your arrangements for the whole duration of your journey. Jenol Tours would like to urge all travellers to have a good medical insurance for your travels in case of any medical emergency.

In most cases you will have to pay cash for your medical requirements, but will be able to claim from your medical insurance as per your contract. It is also strongly advised that all Clients take out adequate insurance cover such as cancellations due to illness, accident or injury, personal accident and personal liability, loss of or damage to baggage and sports equipment.(Note that this is not an exhaustive list). Jenol Tours cannot take responsibility if the Client fails to take adequate insurance cover at all and be responsible for any loss that can occur.
Please do note that all our doctors, clinics, hospitals and private medical institutions do take credit cards for making payments.

Passports, Visas and Health

Please be advised that it is you, as our client’s responsibility and duty to ensure that all passports and visas are current, valid, obtained on time, and will be valid for six months after return to home country and that any vaccinations, inoculations, prophylactic (e.g. for malaria)  and the like, where required, have been obtained. Please check the requirements with the Travel Agent before travelling.  Please note that All visitors to South Africa and all clients who are travelling from RSA to another country are required to have a minimum of three blank pages in their passport excluding the front and back cover to enable the entry visa to be issued – However in each case a further enquiry should be addressed to the consulate or embassy of the relevant countries being visited.  If there is insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied. Please ensure that all passports are renewed. As a guideline, passports should be valid for 6 months after your scheduled return to South Africa.
Non South African passport holders may also be required to have re-entry documentation and it is entirely the client’s duty to ensure that such documentation is in order before departure.

WARNING: Malaria and Other Tropical Diseases.

Certain parts of South Africa, covered by your itinerary,  might be areas where there is a high-risk of malaria and other tropical diseases.  We strongly recommend that the necessary precautions be taken in this regard and recommend that you check with your medical practitioner before departure. Given your Itinerary we, Jenol Tours will also inform if any area, you are traveling to, is affected or not.

Force Majeure

Jenol Tours shall have the right to cancel any contract should its fulfilment be rendered impossible, impeded or frustrated by strikes, violent demonstrations, lock-out, civil commotion, war, act of God, force majeure, lack of materials, operation of law or regulations or order made by any statutory or other duly constituted authorities or any other cause beyond the control of Jenol Tours. The safety of our clients are our top priority. We will however do our best to provide the eservice booked, unless it is against the safety of clients an ourselves.

Jenol Tours, will do our best to recover  monies from third parties which may have been paid to them on behalf of the Client. All funds that are recovered by Jenol Tours will be reimbursed to the Client, less a cancellation charge.  

Changing bookings and Hotels

Where a change requested by you to your travel arrangements is permitted and possible, our standard service fees will apply. Please note that all reservation changes are subject to availability.

Name changes can b details are not allowed by many airlines and other Suppliers. While we will endeavour make such a change if necessary, please bear in mind that most airlines and Suppliers treat a name change as a cancellation, to which standard conditions and charges would apply.

Flights must be taken in the sequence they appear on your ticket or e-ticket confirmation. If you plan not to take a flight as booked, please contact the airline as far in advance as possible to discuss your options. If you do not check in on time for a confirmed reservation, the airline may register you as a ‘no-show’, which could result in extra charges and/or your whole flight itinerary being cancelled and/or render your ticket void.

If You Have A Complaint

If you have any problem or complaint during your holiday, you must firstly inform, the person in charge or tourist guide  (e.g. your service provider at the site, hotel, restaurant, etc.) immediately about the complaint in order to get issues  resolved at place, immediately is possible. Should they be unable to resolve the matter, please contact us by email: info@jenoltours.com. If you fail to contact us on time, we will not be permitted the opportunity to investigate your complaint swiftly and decisively but will attempt to rectify any error while you are away, and this may affect your rights under this General terms and conditions. Please note that we will do everything in our power get a reasonable result for the benefit to all parties involved.

Additional Terms

The information, software, products and services provided by us or our suppliers or published on our website may include inaccuracies or errors, including pricing errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy of, and disclaim all liability for any errors or other inaccuracies relating to such information that appears on our website. We expressly reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on our website and/or on pending reservations made under an incorrect price. In such event, if available, we will offer you the opportunity to keep your pending reservation at the correct price or we will cancel your reservation without penalty.

We reserve the right at any time to modify this Agreement without prior notice to you. Please refer to our website at www.worldsynergytravel.com from time to time to review the most current version of the GTC.

Privacy Policy and Data Protection

Jenol Tours might require personal information in order to ensure a smooth and trouble free tour for all client.  Examples of this would be dietary requirements, disabilities / medical or religious information etc.

You consent to our processing and sharing of personal data/information about you and other members of your party that you have provided to us in accordance with the general terms and conditions.

All personal information will be kept confidential by Jenol Tours, and is only required when a clients joins the tour and needed for their comfort and safety. Jenol Tours will make this information available to suppliers, e.g. dietary requirements, etc, if it is deemed necessary, in order to fulfil our contract with you.

You confirm that you have read and agree to the terms of our privacy policy and data protection, found in our website.

Use of our Services and Website

You agree you will only use our website or services to make legitimate reservations or purchases and shall not make speculative, false or fraudulent reservations or reservations in anticipation of demand.

You may not access, monitor or copy any content or information on our website using it for the benefit of any other means then for the purpose of the above.

This website and content is the property of Jenol Tours and cannot be used without written permission, or without any arrangement agreed to by Jenol.
